Four inmates escaped Ohio Jail by overpowering two female correctional officers with a weapon they made inside of the jail. It was 12:15am when inmates were able to force themselves through a locked door and escape. They were also able to grant access to the administrative wing where they stole the car of a correctional officer. The sheriffs believe that the inmates received help from the outside because there was a car waiting for them a block away. The sherrifs were able to capture three of the four men at a motel in Cary after alerting the officers in the county that the men might be in the area. The last inmate was found in North Carolina where he was taken back to custody. One of the inmates escaped before making it his second time escaping from the same jail. The security in the jail needs to be more secure because inmates are going to keep escaping and being a threat to society.
